Marathon For Full Autonomy in Khagrachari
UPDF organized a “Marathon for Full Autonomy” on the occasion of Full Autonomy Day on 10 March. The 23-kilometer marathon race started from College Gate in Panchari Upazila and ended at Swanirbhor in Khagrachari district town. A total of 240 non-professional athletes in 80 groups took part in the relay-marathon.
The winner team led by Ritesh Tripura reached the finish line in 1 hour 38 minutes, followed by Jibon Kumar Tripura and his team in 1 hour and 39 minutes, securing the first runner-up position. The second runner-up went to Ripen Chakma and his team members, who crossed the finish line in 1 hour 43 minutes at 10:43am.
Hundreds of spectators in different spots on Khagrachari – Panchari road watched and cheered the runners as they went by.

UPDF observes 15th founding anniversary
This day marked the 15th founding anniversary of our glorious Party. The celebration of the day began with the hoisting of the party flag by UPDF president Prasit Bikash Khisha at Naranghia ground in Khagrachari. This was followed by an offering of floral wreaths at a makeshift monument for martyred members of the Party. A children’s procession was also organized in celebration of the day.
